THE TRANS-ATLANTIC CONFERENCE AGREEMENT (TACA) announces: Based upon the latest monitoring of fuel prices, TACA's Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF), will be held unchanged beyond its current period of application, through, at least, June 15th, 2008, at the following levels.

 THE TRANS-ATLANTIC CONFERENCE AGREEMENT (TACA) announces:
The Shipping public will be aware that the escalating price of fuel, particularly over the past eight months, has affected all Parties through increased costs and/or associated tariff charges. In assessing the Bunker Adjustment Factor TACA has continued to follow procedures in keeping with the long established bunker formula. However, notwithstanding insufficient returns, coupled with increased costs, it has become apparent to the TACA Parties that the most recent increases in the price of fuel have created a situation believed to be untenable in today's market.
The TACA Parties, therefore, wish to advise their customers that the bunker formula will be suspended, temporarily, and the current BAF will be adjusted, with immediate effect, to the levels published and in effect on September 16, 2007. These levels will remain effective through, at least, February 15th, 2008
as follows:

The latest monitoring of fuel prices continue to show escalating increases since TACA’s
previous adjustment in August of this year. Accordingly an adjustment of TACA’s BAF has
been triggered with effect from December 16th, 2007 through, at least, January 15th 2008
to the following levels:

Major Carriers announce fuel surcharge increase to take effect on May 08, 2006 / with additional

increase to take effect on May 15, 2006

 

Based on sustained increased levels of the Fuel Price index, All major carriers have announced a fuel surcharge increase to 0.55 euro per kilogram effective May 08, 2005.  With an additional increase to .60 euro per kilogram effective on May 15, 2006. Westar will adjust the fuel surcharge accordingly.

With respect to Currency Adjustment Factor (CAF), the Tariff published level, based on the latest monitoring exercise, will be adjusted from six (6) percent to four (4) percent effective January 16th, 2006, through, at least, February 15th, 2006.
The TACA BAF and CAF to apply from January 16th, 2006, will be announced on a minimum of 30 days notice.

Major Carriers announce fuel surcharge increase to take effect on October 17, 2005:

 

Based on sustained increased levels of the Fuel Price index, All major carriers have announced a fuel surcharge increase to 0.55 euro per kilogram effective

October 17, 2005.  Westar will adjust the fuel surcharge accordingly.
